During the international imposed limitations and embargos, Iranian engineers in Omrab Company presented their state of art design, which has brought a great honor to Iran and their efforts, ambitious and knowledge astonished the world.
Awarding highest score to Abadan refinery cooling water system project (changing from once-through to close circuit) among 23 national projects by “European Association for Green Management” as the leading project in 2014, is another masterpiece among many outstanding aspects of Abadan oil refining plant.
This lasting success is the outcome of intelligent aspiration in collaboration with Industry, Economics, Citizen rights and Cultural disciplines which wouldn’t be possible without vigorous will, sincere commitment, integrated management, collective wisdom, focused planning and unconditional efforts of managers, experts involved the project.
Before upgrading(once-through system), the amount of extracted water from Arvand river was 23,000 m3/hr. which after the process of cooling and contamination with oily components, heavy metals…would be returned to the River, However, after upgrade the amount of extracted water is decreased to 1,800 m3/hr.
