In August 2006 OMRAB conclusion a contract for engineering, procurement, construction of Jebel Awlia city water treatment plant. This project accomplished this project during 30 Months.
Scope of woks includes designing, engineering, procurement and installation of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control (I&C) equipment and construction of water treatment plant with total capacity of 68,000 Cu.m per day.
The treatment process has been designed base on a conventional treatment system includes intake pump station unit, flash mixing unit, flocculation and sedimentation unit (Pulsator unit), gravity sand filter, gas chlorination, chemical, final pump station unit and control system.
In this project most of hydro electromechanical equipment supply from west of Europe well known partners and suppliers such as Endress-Hauser, Siemens, Mouell, Alldos, Ebro (Germany), De-Raedt (Belgium), Bombas Ideal (Spain)
